Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings once again from the Philippines! We want to thank each of you who have prayed so fervently for us in recent days. We missionaries would be greatly weakened without the intercessory prayers of our partners in ministry.
Mrs. Amy and the children all had a wonderful visit to the States. Thank you for praying for their safe journey as they were able to visit both her family in South Carolina and mine in Tennessee. The grandparents certainly enjoyed their visit. We sure are thankful for Bro. Bud Lance who accompanied them to the States and Bro. Larry Stikeleather who assisted them in their return. It was a refreshing time for Amy and the boys. Thank you very much for your prayers.
We would like to ask you to please continue praying much for the ministry here. So much is going on, it seems that the work will never be done. We finished our second year of Bible College with 15 students. We are conducting more modular courses throughout the summer. We now have 21 students enrolled with more considering our school. I stand amazed at how God is using this ministry to train national workers for the fields. Please encourage your Sunday School classes to consider sponsoring a Bible College Student. Most of them come with very little or no help from home.
Our young people are in Youth Camp this week. We have Character Modular Courses next week. We have a Ladies Jubilee, Doctrines Modular Course, and IBOM Meeting in May. Then we have a Pastors Conference and Evangelistic Crusade in June, as well as starting third year of Bible College classes. Also, please pray as we seek God’s will in starting the New Beginnings Baptist Deaf Church. We have a deaf ministry already but are considering taking it to the next step. So, please just pray about all these adventures.
God is so good to allow us to have a part in His work. I have had some heart complications recently. Please pray that the doctors will have the wisdom to find the source of the problem and repair it. Too, I need more strength to do all that needs to be done.
Yours for souls yet to be saved,
Bro. Chris, Amy, Andrew & Caleb
