New Beginnings Baptist Church had a special day to honor those of our Deaf Church. We are so pleased that the Lord has entrusted this ministry to us. Our Deaf Church is an offspring from the ministry of Deaf Missionary Bob Himes, who had served here in Bacolod City for 26 years. Bro. Bob recently returned to the States for furlough and plans to relocate to another island upon his return. He asked us to adopt this ministry in order to guarantee its continuance. It has been a tremendous joy to have a part in this ministry.

At left, Deaf Pastor Dominador Medes does a great job in encouraging the deaf to come and presents great Bible lessons each Sunday morning in the Sunday School department.

Below, Pastor Joseph Mallaga conducts our weekly Deaf Bible Classes in various schools throughout the island.

Bro. Stephen, is one of the fine young men saved under the ministry of Bro. Himes who has become a very active leader in the New Beginnings Deaf Ministry. He is currently being developed in song leading and soul-winning.

The New Beginnings Baptist Bible College Ensemble presents a special number in sign language.

Various students of the New Beginnings Baptist Bible College have learned sign language and make up the deaf church workers. Below left, Dailyn Monteverde signs the message to the deaf. At right, Joy Magallanes leads a young lady to Christ after the invitation (her first deaf convert).
