THE MURRAY FAMILY NEWS
God has richly blessed our family. In our last letter we announced
that Andrew had received Christ as his Saviour on March 14th.
We are pleased to inform you that he has also followed the Lord
in believer’s baptism at his own request. When I questioned
him about baptism he said “that was like when Christ died
and got buried then He got up again.” I asked if he believed
that and he said “yes sir”. I baptized my son and
my brother in the Name of the blessed Trinity!
We are also glad to announce that the Lord is adding to our
physical family as well. Amy is expected to deliver
our second child in late January. Andrew has been praying
for a playmate and God has answered his prayers. We do ask that
you pray fervently for Amy. We will be staying and having this
baby in the Philippines. We are thankful that the Lord has smiled
upon us with another child.

NBBC - Vacation Bible School 2004 - Fishing with
Jesus
On May 25-27, we held our first
VBS. It was absolutely amazing. We anticipated around 100 students.
However, we had 263 on the first day and had over 300 different
children for the three day event. We praise the Lord for the opportunity
to introduce the students and their families to Jesus –
The One Who wants to Lead Us, Teach Us and Use Us based upon Matthew
4:19, “Jesus saith unto them, Come, follow me and I will
make you fishers of men.” On graduation Sunday we had around
400 people for the service. We can do nothing but praise the Lord
and give God the glory for the effectual door that was opened
unto us.

Summer Missionaries in Training
Andrew and Rachel Winebarger,
members of the Trinity Baptist Church of Asheville, North Carolina
have been our summer missionaries in training for this year.
Rachel and Andrew spent the summer discovering the realities
of the mission field. While here, they taught Bible stories,
went out with our soul-winners, helped in our first Vacation
Bible School, Sunday School, video and photography work. We
thank the Lord for young people willing to come over and help
us. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth
more laborers into His harvest.

We are open to host young missionary
prospects in training for next summer. These were our first
summer missionaries and we already look forward to hosting others
in the future. If anyone is interested in applying for the Summer
Missionaries in Training Program, please contact us for scheduling,
qualifications and requirements, as well as an application.
NBBC Organizational Service – June 6, 2004
Record
Breaking Attendance – 125
June 6, 2004 was the monumental
day for New Beginnings Baptist Church. After beginning the church
in November of 2003 with my family and seven other people, the
Lord gave us a record high attendance and forty two baptized
converts to charter the New Beginnings Baptist Church. Evangelist,
Dr. William Jeffcoat, of our home church, Gantt Street Baptist
Church in Cayce, South Carolina was our special guest preacher
and church representative in organizing New Beginnings Baptist
Church. What A Mighty God We Serve!

Matthew 16:18 – I Will
Build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against
it!

New Beginnings Baptist Bible College
The week after we organized
the New Beginnings Baptist Church we inaugurated the New Beginnings
Baptist Bible College. Dr. Dan Hemmes, pastor of Manton Baptist
Church in Manton, Michigan was our main speaker for our First
Annual Bible Conference for the college. He did a great job
and we thank the Lord for his willingness to come and share
his life with us during these days, as he preached a Series
of Messages on Prophecy.
Adopt or Sponsor
a NBBBC Student
We covet your prayers greatly
as we begin this ministry. We have decided to limit our enrollment
to our church members and the students that will come with our
teachers. The cost of operating a Bible College is a great responsibility.
We are going to ask churches and especially individual families
to adopt or sponsor a student. For $50 a month you can fully
“Adopt” a student, providing: Dormitory fees, Food,
Transportation, Materials and Personal needs. For $25 a month
you can “Sponsor” a student along with another sponsor
in helping supply the needs of a student.
When you “Adopt” or “Sponsor” a student
you will receive a picture of your student, personal correspondence
(through the office for supervision) and a free gift of appreciation
handmade in the Philippines. Please pray about this great need.
Should the Lord lead you to help a student you may send your
assistance to our mission board and designate it for the MURRAY
– BIBLE COLLEGE FUND

Prayer Requests
1. Pray for Amy and the baby, that God would
grant her a pleasant pregnancy and delightful delivery (if that
is possible)! All things are possible with God!
2. Please pray for the financial needs of this ministry and our
family. We have lost a considerable amount of support since making
our changes last year and returning to the field. We are pressing
on with what support we have and doing the best we can. However,
please pray that the Lord would raise up some additional support
to make up for the loss as well as the added ministries.
3. Please pray for the needed books for our college library. We
have just secured the building for the college library and student
center. Renovations will be under way soon and the need for books
will follow. Many people have books laying around having read
once and now collecting dust. Maybe you would like to give that
book to help a young Moody, Spurgeon or Billy Sunday!
