Caleb Joshua Murray born January 22,
2005
We
rejoice in the Lord
that He has graced us with a new addition
to our family. Amy delivered Caleb Joshua at the Riverside Hospital
in Bacolod City. He weighed seven pounds and twelve ounces,
nineteen inches long, blue eyes and a full head a hair with
everything else accounted for. Everything went well. It was
a normal delivery without any complications.
Afterwards
Amy developed a bad infection with a UTI and infection in the
wall of her uterus which caused a lot of misery. As this began
to clear up she pinched a nerve in her back and could hardly
move. As the back began to improve she came down with the flu.
So please pray for her as her system has just ran down making
her susceptible to many things. We are all looking forward to
her getting back to normal. Other than these things both Amy
and the baby are doing fine and making progress. Andrew is all
excited about having a baby brother to wrestle with someday.
Daddy is just trying to get a good nights sleep! We are blessed
indeed.

Short
Story From A Soul Winner
Luke 19:9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is
salvation come to this house..
Rhoda Villacora was
saved on August 18, 2002 during our church revival with Pastor
Ed Chambless. Rhoda later surrendered her life to be a full
time Christian worker and missionary for Christ. She enrolled
in our New Beginning Baptist Bible College and is one of our
brightest students. As well as, she is one of our most effective
soulwinners. One day while out soulwinning, Rhoda witnessed
to and led Mrs. Nelly Awit to Christ.
Ma’am
Nelly was so excited about this new life she had found in Christ
that she shared what happened with her husband Rey that evening.
Her husband too received Christ as His personal Savior. I had
the privilege of baptizing both Rey and Nelly in believer’s
baptism on the same day. They are faithful working members of
our church.
Rey
and Nelly, along with their two beautiful daughters Nerizza
and Kimberly are growing in the Lord through our Growing in
Grace Discipleship Program. Ma’am Nelly sings in our choir
and helps as a Sunday School teachers assistant. Just recently
Bro. Rey went out soulwinning for the first time and is now
excited about how to become an effective soulwinner. We praise
the Lord for the day salvation came to this house!

New
Life from New Beginnings Baptist
Jessie Cabalhin
I would like to introduce you to one of the finest young men
I have met in a long time, Jessie Cabalhin. Below is a testimony
that Jessie has written. I have refrained from making any grammatical,
wording or spelling corrections in it in order for you to get
a feel of how the typical Filipino communicates his feelings.
Jessie writes,
Dear Sir/Ma’am,
First I would like you to introduce my self I am Jessie Cabalhin.
I was born here in Bacolod City Phil. I’m single, 24 years
old, born on May 6, 1980 and I was the oldest in the family.
My family is a Catholic, I have a 4 brothers and 1 sister.
My life before I got saved was not happy. I was an Alcoholic
person and I learn to smoke cigarettes, liar, disobedient to
my parents and I used to rob money of my mother and also I learn
to take marijuana. Then I was searching everyday, I don’t
know what I was looking for. Then last July 2004 there was a
two girls who invited me to visit there church (NBBC). As they
asking me to go to their church and then I go. It was Sunday,
it is then Friendship Sunday. Dr. Armie Jesalva who was preaching,
on invitation I was convicted by the Holy Spirit of God then
I got saved, one of the worker of the church lead me to Jesus.
And I thank God for the Salvation that He gave me. Then Pastor
Chris Murray tells me to go to Bible College.
As for now I was still searching for my calling I was still
asking God if He called me to be a Pastor or a Missionary but
I know that God have plan for my life.
I also thank God for using you to support us. I thank you for
giving a support for me.
I will pray to God to bless your Ministry also. I will pray
also to God to give me knowledge to continue. You know sir/ma’am
it was great encouragement for me to continue on studying more
so that I can pass to Bible College and to obey God’s
will. I really appreciate your kindness. Even if I don’t
determine yet if what God called me to be but I know that God
has a great plan for me someday. I hope that God will still
use your heart to support the student around the world. I will
pray for you.
Your brother in Christ,
Jessie M. Cabalhin
Please pray for Jessie as he seeks the will of God for his life.
God is making a tremendous difference in his life. He has such
a sweet spirit and servants heart. I find it amazing that even
though he knows not what God wants him to do, he stays busy
doing what he can. Jessie is learning how to be an aggressive
and effective soulwinner. Through his testimony of a changed
life, God is using him to bring many people to church from his
community. Please pray for Jessie and thank God for making a
difference in his life and through him, making a difference
in the lives of others

Rom 5:6-9 For when we were yet without strength,
in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a
righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some
would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us,
in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much
more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through him.
