God’s Word – A Message for All

We are living in a world full of divisions brought about by the sin of man. A world at war with each other, racial dominance is at an all time high among the desires of men. There are without a doubt a multitude of differences among men. However, God’s Word is the same for all men throughout the world.

First, ALL ARE BORN SINNERS

Psalm 51:5 "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. " Man at one time was in harmony with God. Adam and Eve were placed in the garden of innocence. However, they fell into sin by disobeying God and taking of the forbidden fruit. As a result of their disobedience, they died as our representatives. Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."

Second, ALL HAVE SINNED

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." There are many who would like to believe that they are without sin, but God cannot lie and He says, that ALL have sinned. This includes you and I, and everyone else. ALL includes everyone and excludes no one. You say not me, but the Bible says in Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" No one is perfect. No one has lived up to God’s perfect standard. The glory of God is perfection. Surely we can all realize and admit that we are not perfect. Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."

Third, ALL ARE SENTENCED TO DEATH

James 1:14-15 "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. [15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." As we saw earlier, the sin of Adam in the garden brought death to them and all mankind. Again we see this same sentenced pronounced upon sin. The soul that sinneth, it shall surely die. Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Death is one certainty of life, which is unavoidable. Death is coming to meet one and all. But after death comes the judgment. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Just as we saw death for Adam and Eve we find it again for mankind.

Fourth, ALL CAN BE SAVED

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Without a doubt we have seen the judgment of death. However, the verse does not stop with death. There is life with the Lord Jesus Christ. You do not have to die and go to hell. Hell is definitely awaiting the unsaved, Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

So what must I do to be saved? Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." The scripture is not referring to a head knowledge, but a heart of faith. Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." God extends this invitation to all, whosoever and everyone, everywhere. Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. "

Last, ALL MUST BE SAVED

Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Notice, we must be saved!

John 3:7 "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." If you want to go to heaven, it is not an option or a choice but a command – Ye MUST be born again.
